Wake writes that she knows his 'Heart so well as to make all fine speeches and usual congratulations unnecessary'. His main hope is for her future happiness and it would make him happy if he has her friendship. Wake continues the letter stating that may Hamilton long be an 'ornament to the married state as you was in the highest degree to the single'.<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Dated at Upshire Farm.<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Original reference No. 22.<\/p>"
