   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'>Henry Jerome de Salis writes to Hamilton assuring her that he regretted having to return home from Leighton because of a snow storm without having waited upon her. He had to write a number of letters for Monday's post. He had business with Mr Houstley and he allowed him to write some of the letters at his house. He continues that he would not 'think of making such a use of your House' and hopes to have the pleasure of her company and conversation there soon.<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>De Salis ends his letter noting that he is pleased that news from Lancashire 'continues to be good' [referring to Hamilton's father-in-law]. He continues that his 'Company is come'. That they are safe and well.<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Dated at Wing.<\/p>"
