   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'>Heinrich Simon writes a letter to his family, thanking his parents and siblings separately for their letters and gifts. He also promises to heed his parents\u2019 advice and to write to his aunts Louise Bock and Henriette Fischer after an argument with the former.<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Note(s):<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Correspondence comprised of three items: SIM/1/172b, SIM/1/172c and SIM/1/172d. In the bound volume, the order of this group of letters appears to be different from how they would have been received. Inserted back to front, it is likely that the first letter (SIM/1/172d) would have been from Heinrich Simon to his parents, followed by a letter (SIM/1/172c) to Julie and Gustav, followed by a letter (SIM/1/172b) to Auguste and \"Mitzel\" (Hermine).<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>In the collection, these letters are positioned with the documents from 1822. From context, however, it is obvious that this letter relates to the presents Heinrich received in 1821 and other events from that period. The number '2' is overwritten with a line that likely represents number '1'.<\/p>"
