   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'>English Delftware drug jar labelled O. Olivarum, dating from around 1700, used for the storing of olive oil used in the preparation of medicines within an apothecary or early pharmacy. It was gifted by Dr John Wilkinson (1897-1998), Director of Haematology at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Consultant Haematologist to the Christie Hospital and lecturer at the University of Manchester. <\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Dr Wilkinson had the finest and largest private collection of delftware jars in the UK, and gifted most of the jars upon his death to collections including the Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds.<\/p>"
