   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'>The head-dress of a Manchu noble. The frame of the hat is woven, black bamboo strips stiffened with woven, black silk covered wire. The section of the hat is oval; the front comes down in an almost semi-circular curve but the back is only about 4.5cm deep. The hat is covered with irridescent blue enamelled work representing flowers, leaves, butterflies, parts of flowers etc. The turquoise colour is said to be made from the feathers of kingfishers, the other decorations are made from polished gem stones and pearls etc. The lower edge of the hat has short fringes of pearls and gem stones.<\/p>"
