   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'>Pair of bronze (copper alloy) anklets, narrowly opened at one side and with incised decoration by the opening and on the interior. The Meroitic kingdom was well-known for exceptionally fine metal working, and this provided an important trade connection with the Roman Empire. These heavy pieces of jewellery were found in graves and date to around the third century CE. This example comes from Meroitic cemetery, 315.<\/p>"
