   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'>Two thin gold eye-shaped amulets from a mummified body, with impressed decoration around the edges to indicate the irises and pupils.<\/p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Mummified bodies of the Ptolemaic and Roman Period sometimes have pieces of gold applied directly to the skin, with the eyes and the tongue being particularly important and in need of protection. Gold was associated with the flesh of the gods, and the application of gold imparted divinity to the deceased.<\/p>"
