   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'> Map of the world divided into two hemispheres, in Japanese. It represents the western and eastern hemispheres and four small hemispheres. It is a wood block print on paper, in colour, mounted on linen scroll. A preface, in coloured text, is positioned to the right of the map. On the left side, the scroll includes, in similarly coloured text, a legend with explanatory notes, and the date Kōka 1 (1844). It otherwise lacks a colophon. The title, absent on the map, is reported on a label mounted on the outside of the pale brown linen scroll (text black on white labels, one with Library's call no.: Japanese 118). The textual sections are similar to Japanese 118a, but in this copy the final line of the preface and second half of the final line of the explanatory notes are missing. This is a different (and possibly a pirate) edition of the same map. <\/p>"
