<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from Leonard Smelt to Mary Hamilton. The letter relates to her earlier letter (HAM/1/1/1/13). He writes that he had delayed his answer so as to have the satisfaction to report that the Queen's health had improved. He continues that the King and Queen and 'the three eldest Princesses were here last [...] & the improvement in all their appearances is as rapid as the most attached [...] of their subjects could wish it'.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Miss Schwellenberg and Miss Burney send their thanks to Hamilton for her remembrance of them and that Lady Charlotte Finch has charged him to send her regards.
