<p style='text-align: justify;'>Note from Queen Charlotte wishing Mary Hamilton well on her journey [she was to visit Eastbourne] and hoping that the sea proves beneficial to her. In the note Queen Charlotte asks Mary Hamilton to look upon her as a 'sincere friend' and sends her compliments to Mary Hamilton's 'visitor', Lady Stormont. [Louisa Stormont née Cathcart (1758?-1843), later Countess of Mansfield. Lady Stormont was a cousin of Mary Hamilton's, the daughter of Lord Cathcart and Jean Hamilton, a sister of Hamilton's father. Louisa married David Murray, Seventh Earl of Stormont and second Earl of Mansfield in 1776 and after his death later married her second cousin, Robert Fulke Greville.]</p>
