He writes about Hamilton’s brother William and notes that he is ‘ashamed to own’ that he has misplaced a letter meant for him written by Lady Cathcart. It was open and he ‘perused it’ and assures him that it contained no news but was full of ‘sentiments of affection’.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Dated at London.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Original reference No. 11.</p>
