Letter from Lord Cathcart to his brother-in law Charles Hamilton. He writes about Hamilton’s brother William and notes that he is ‘ashamed to own’ that he has misplaced a letter meant for him written by Lady Cathcart. It was open and he ‘perused it’ and assures him that it contained no news but was full of ‘sentiments of affection’.
