The Mary Hamilton Papers

Letter from Lord Warwick to Mary Hamilton. He congratulates Mary and John Dickenson on the marriage of their daughter Louisa to William Anson; he hopes that the union of the families will be some recompense for 'being in some degree deprived of the Company of a most Amiable Daughter'. He adds that he is suffering from a continual pain in the head, which has made him wary of 'being Exposed to the changeable weather'. He formerly disregarded such matters, but 'I begin at last to be cautious'.
