The Mary Hamilton Papers

Unsigned letter to Mary Hamilton. The letter is written tongue-in-cheek, the unnamed author writing on behalf of a gentleman who wishes to be introduced to Hamilton. A character of the said gentleman is provided and the author notes at the end of the letter that he is 'not ashamed to tell you, he [the gentleman wishing to be introduced] is so near a Relation, as to bear the Name & arms of your humble servant'.
