<p style='text-align: justify;'>Note from Elizabeth Schwellenberg [Keeper of the Robes to Queen Charlotte] to Mary Hamilton, stating that she finds it very satisfactory that 'you fully comprehend me' and signing herself a 'sincere and affect[ionate] friend'.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>On the other side of the sheet is a note of the same date from Hamilton to Schwellenberg, transcribed as HAM/1/7/13/5/2. One is clearly a reply to the other, but it is not clear which way round.</p>
