<p style='text-align: justify;'>Note from Lady Webb to Mary Hamilton, relating to advice that Hamilton had given Webb and to Webb’s feelings.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Webb writes that she admires Hamilton’s sentiments but ‘rather my self if you know me more justly you would be convinced that neither Compliments or Dissipation had any interest in my heart or Pleasures’. Webb wishes to ‘appear Different from what I really am’ and must change as her happiness depends upon it.</p>
