Letter from Charlotte Finch to Mary Hamilton, relating to the health of Prince Alfred. Finch asks Hamilton to inform the King and Queen that Prince Alfred has been out on horseback and does not seem to be tired by this exercise and she hopes that it will benefit him. She reports that he slept well last night and that he has a good appetite today. His cough is less troublesome and he is much cooler.
Dated at Deal Castle [Kent].
