The Mary Hamilton Papers

Letter from Harriet Finch to Mary Hamilton. She writes that she takes the Liberty of requesting to see her the following day before she goes to Queen's House. She would see it as a great favour and will wait at her bed chamber door for her. She would visit Hamilton herself but has had very little sleep that she knows that she will not be dressed in time to catch Hamilton in her rooms before she goes to her ‘attendance’. She writes that she has much to tell her on ‘that subject & others’.
