She sends Hamilton compliments from her friend, Mrs Horton, and she says she understands from the letter Hamilton has written her friend, Miss Clarke, that she is not to leave Derbyshire for two weeks. Herries wishes that she would hear from Hamilton herself soon but 'remember I love you well enough to prefer you not being fatigued with too much writing'.</p>
