Letter from Harriet Foote to Mary Hamilton, discussing the health of Lady Catherine Herries. She has been waiting to hear news of Lady Herries from Sir Robert for some days. He tells her that Lady Herries's 'general health appears improved' and that he does not 'apprehend that she has lost ground'. Foote fears that this is 'all we can hope or expect unless some very natural alteration takes place'. The letter continues on an invitation by Hamilton to Foote to visit her at Leighton House.
