<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from Louisa Murray, Lady Stormont, to Mary Hamilton. She writes to thank Hamilton for sending her a letter written to Hamilton from her uncle, Sir William Hamilton. In her last letter to Hamilton (HAM/1/18/52) She had asked if she would forward a letter from him and that she would return it to her once read. She is concerned for Sir William and hopes to hear that his health has not suffered by his loss.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>The letter continues with Stormont asking Hamilton to ask her friend and fellow governess Miss Goldsworthy (<a target='_blank' class='externalLink uom-purple' href='https://archiveshub.jisc.ac.uk/manchesteruniversity/data/gb133-ham/ham/1/14'>HAM/1/14</a>) for some information about a place in Dorset that she is interested in as she understands that she had lived there at one time.</p>
