The Mary Hamilton Papers

Note from Louisa Murray, Lady Stormont, to Mary Hamilton. She asks Hamilton for her assistance, saying that she will tell her the 'particulars' of how she can aid her when they next meet. She notes that she knows of a person 'in the same expectation as myself but through misfortunes neither she nor her Husband can find money to but any one thing for herself or the child for the occasion'. Stormont asks Hamilton if she will be able to find out where she will be able to purchase second hand things of that nature 'made of course materials'.
