The Mary Hamilton Papers : Note from Louisa Murray, Lady Stormont, to Mary Hamilton

Murray (née Cathcart), Louisa

The Mary Hamilton Papers

Note from Louisa Murray, Lady Stormont, to Mary Hamilton. She is glad to have heard from Sir William [Hamilton?] that Mary is better. She is to dine that day at Kenwood but she does not intend to make any visits. Her carriage is employed all the following days so she will be unable to send for Hamilton and to ‘comfort’ her she asks that Hamilton visit them as Wandsworth Hill. Stormont continues her note on her son, Henry, who continues to thrive.
