<p style='text-align: justify;'>Note from Louisa Murray, Lady Stormont, to Mary Hamilton, relating to the setting up of a charitable School of Industry, with which Hamilton is involved. Stormont returns the 'book of proposals for the school' and gives her half a guinea for the charity box. She is unable to become a subscriber as she already has commitments in her own Parish but she hopes that the Institution as the success that it deserves. Stormont asks Hamilton if she could find out for her what wage the school mistress is to have.</p>
