Letter from Francis Napier, 8th Lord Napier, to Mary Hamilton, concerning the health of his wife, the cost of travel and his intention of having his son educated in England when he is of an age. He writes that as Hamilton is ’one of the Blue Stocking Tribe [he] shall certainly consult you on the proper mode of conducting a matter of such importance’.
