<p style='text-align: justify;'>Herrmann Simon tells his son Heinrich that Auguste is the last of the Simon children to catch the measles. Herrmann expresses his hope that Heinrich’s hand, which he injured during a fall, is getting better.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Note(s):</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>The postmark as well as the content of this letter indicate that it must have been written on the 7th of March 1820, not the 7th of May 1820.</p>
