<p style='text-align: justify;'>The Simon Family in Breslau is awaiting the imminent arrival of Heinrich Simon the Elder, who in fact adds a few lines of his own to their letter to their son Heinrich. Uncle Heinrich is now engaged to Auguste Goering , the daughter of the Director of the City of Charlottenburg. Minna Simon writes that Heinrich has not yet advanced to the top class (Prima) on account of his character, not his knowledge. While disappointed, she believes that he will benefit from another semester in his present class (Secunda).</p>
