<p style='text-align: justify;'>Heinrich Simon describes for his parents his life as a Primaner at Brieg, which includes lessons in good writing style with the exacting Professor Matthisson. Heinrich assures his family that he is working hard and has prepared a demanding timetable though he divulges too something of the fact that he is going out with fellow Primaner. The Schmieders have recently visited Breslau where they spent time with Heinrich’s parents.</p>
