The family have to go into quarantine so Heinrich will not be able to spend the Christmas holidays with them at home.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Note(s):</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>This letter is dated 6 December 1822, but the postmark on the address leaf reads 5 December 1822, indicating that the letter was written a day earlier. There are a few such cases where Herrmann Simon has evidently mistaken the dates.</p>
