He asks after his cousins Adolph and August Lütke and Ferdinand Fischer, who is going to board at the grammar school in Hirschberg.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Note(s):</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>The letter’s reference number and position in the volume give the impression it was written in 1823, but the references to his cousins Ferdinand, Adolph and August suggest it was written in 1821.</p>
