<p style='text-align: justify;'>Julie Simon sends her goodbye greetings to her brother Heinrich on her departure for Berlin. Ludowika and Auguste Simon describe the events around Julie’s trip and Minna Simon explains that her mind about letting her daughter travel had been changed by the insistence of Heinrich Simon the Elder. Herrmann Simon adds a brief greeting.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Note(s):</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>In the bound volume, the last page of letter SIM/1/253 appears to be a separate letter written by Heinrich Simon the Elder, dated 15 June 1824. An artificial number was given to the latter: SIM/1/253(a).</p>
