<p style='text-align: justify;'>In his letter to his brother Herrmann and his sons Heinrich and Gustav, Heinrich Simon the Elder approves of Heinrich’s plans to go to Brandenburg and promises to contact director Kuhlmeyer via his brother in Berlin. He explains that he has spoken with Mühler several times regarding a position for Gustav and advises him to work hard in his studies. In the last section he tells his brother that he has been able to secure some work for him, carrying out calculations on behalf of the city court.</p>
