<p style='text-align: justify;'>Volume 10 of the University of Manchester Rag Rag. Cover features a stylised scene of a sailor in blue uniform and a blue snake in a red boat, sailing a blue ocean set against a background of a large sun. Proceeds from the magazine were donated to Manchester Royal Infirmary.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Features include a spoof interview with Mussolini, cartoon sketches and comedy sports reports. There are references to imperial and industrial decline, the Irish Free State movement and Hollywood productions.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>This volume’s comedic advertisements include James Wild homes, Foden diesel, Parkinson’s pills, Atora Beef Suet, King George IV whisky, Christie Cancer Hospital, West Point homes, George Shephard cars, Humber and Hillman cars and others.</p>
