The Digital Edition of the Heinrich Simon Papers

<p style='text-align: justify;'>Herrmann Simon describes the siege of Breslau, which, he writes, started on 10 December 1806 and finished with its occupation by French and Bavarian troops on 5 January 1807. According to his account, over 100 citizens were killed or wounded, but he and his family were left unharmed.</p>
