The Digital Edition of the Heinrich Simon Papers

<p style='text-align: justify;'>Herrmann Simon informs his brother that many other Breslau merchants have been afflicted by the prevailing bad credit, leading to widespread bankruptcies. Herrmann Simon is being supported by the family. His sister Louise Bock has offered her portion of her inheritance from their brother Otto Simon. In his search for a position in the Prussian administration Herrmann has written to Johann Albert Friedrich von Eichhorn. He encloses a copy of the letter and expresses his thanks to his brother for writing to Eichhorn on his behalf.</p>
