<p style='text-align: justify;'>A tall pair of shoes / pattens consisting of a wooden sole with a cloth-faced leather strap at the instep. Beneath each end of the sole is an inverted V shaped support, which lifts the sole of the shoe very high off the ground. The supports and soles are inlaid with pearl shell.</p>
