Manchester Museum : Vase

Manchester Museum

A tall, very well shaped meiping vase, covered with a bluish-white glaze, decorated with a four-clawed dragon in underglaze blue. There are formal patterns on the shoulder and on the base. The base is unglazed, but does have a mark. The pot has obviously been broken and repaired.
