<p style='text-align: justify;'>Decorated with three small orbs, this simple earring was likely worn by a woman. Similar jewellery appears in the panel paintings known as the ‘Faiyum Portraits.’ Silver was more precious than gold as the metal was less common in Egypt than elsewhere.</p>
