<p style='text-align: justify;'> As many mummified bodies during the Graeco-Roman Period were not otherwise identified by name, they often had a label attached naming the deceased. This example carries inked text in both Demotic Egyptian and Greek, giving the name of the deceased as Saisons, along with the prayer: ‘May his?> ba live before Osiris-Sokar, lord of Abydos... ΣΕΑΙΣΟΝΣ (Saisons)' A label with exactly the same wording is in the collections of the Louvre, suggesting that one of the two may be a (modern?) copy of the other. </p>
