<p style='text-align: justify;'> Copy [in the hand of W. R. Hay] of a letter (originally on a placard), by Henry Hunt addressed to the 'Reformers of Manchester and its Neighbourhood'. It appears that Hunt was not informed that the intended meeting of the 9 August 1819 had been banned by the authorities and therefore cancelled and rearranged for 16 August. </p>
