<p style='text-align: justify;'> Copy [in an unknown hand] of a joint affidavit of James Harmer of London and Henry Denison of Liverpool, produced at Oldham in the Court of King's Bench on Saturday, 13th November 1819. The two radical lawyers Harmer and Denison, engaged themselves on the case and filed an inquest into the death of John Lees of Oldham, who died on the morning of September 7th from injuries received at Peterloo and the illegality of actions of the Magistrates that day. </p>
