Hebrew Manuscripts : Trilingual Bible with Rashi's commentary (volume 1)

Hebrew Manuscripts

First volume of a two-volume trilingual Bible in Hebrew, Aramaic (Targum Onḳelos) and Judeo-Arabic (Saʿadia Gaon's Tafsir) containing the first part of the Pentateuch accompanied by Rashi's commentary and on most pages extensive paratext. The various languages alternate verse by verse. Only the Hebrew and Aramaic passages are vocalised with Tiberian and Babylonian (supralinear) vocalisation respectively. The paratext includes quotations from the Bible commentary of the Baʿal ha-Ṭurim (such as on folio 133a, lines 1-30). The full contents of the paratext remain to be established. The texts continue in Gaster Hebrew MS 323.
