<p style='text-align: justify;'>Autobiography of Reyna Cohen, a Sephardic published author and mystic from Salonica, in Ladino. Preserved in two notebooks, both autographs, written in 1910 and 1911: see <a target='_blank' class='externalLink' href='https://www.digitalcollections.manchester.ac.uk/view/MS-GASTER-HEBREW-01618/1'>Gaster Hebrew MS 1618</a>. She sent each notebook separately with a short accompanying letter to Moses Gaster in London. In the autobiography she describes her thoughts, life experiences, dreams and prophetic visions. Reyna had been educated at a Protestant Mission School at Salonica, through which she became acquainted with Christian millenarianism. During her travels she met Moses Gaster in London, who encouraged her to write down her autobiography and to send it to him.</p>
