She sent each notebook separately with a short accompanying letter to Moses Gaster in London. In the autobiography she describes her thoughts, life experiences, dreams and prophetic visions. Reyna had been educated at a Protestant Mission School at Salonica, through which she became acquainted with Christian millenarianism. During her travels she met Moses Gaster in London, who encouraged her to write down her autobiography and to send it to him. At the end of the notebook Reyna includes a note in French in which she states her place of residence and which reads "M.lle Reina Cohen / Chez Monsieur Menahem Cohen / Quartier Puglia (Incendi) / Salonique".</p>
