Beerhouses are indicated with a circular dot. Licensed victuallers are indicated by a triangular symbol. Licensed grocers are indicated by a square mark. Premises selling beer are marked by the symbol L. Premises selling "sweets" (British wines) are marked with the symbol O. Wholesale dealers are marked X.</p>
