<p style='text-align: justify;'>Bulla of 27 March, 1486, "Romanus pontifex", translated into English, confirming the marriage of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>The Pope dispensed Henry VII and Elizabeth of York to marry on 2 March 1486; on 27 March he confirmed the validity of any dispensation made by the Papal legate in England on his behalf; on 23 July this dispensation was further confirmed by the Pope. On 13 June 1486 Henry VII's Council made an order that the bull should be translated into English and multiplied</p>
