Letter from Lady Catherine Herries to Mary Hamilton, relating to family news, children and servants.
Lady Herries writes that it is always a 'joy' to her to see a letter from Hamilton. Herries is still suffering from weak eyes so she can only 'employ' herself in 'starts & that by daylight only'. Herries continues her letter on the subject of Hamilton's 'unworthy servant' who had 'deceived' her and of her own and friends' experiences with servants.
