History of Medicine
Manchester has played a pivotal role in the development of medicine and patient care since the mid-eighteenth century. Long-standing, close ties between The University of Manchester, the Manchester Medical Society, Manchester Royal Infirmary and other teaching hospitals, have enabled the University to create an outstanding collection of resources for studies in health humanities.
This digital collection will be added to as part of the Library’s continuing digitisation programme.
